TRANSLATION NOTES: Please read some comments at the end of this post.
It is fairly recent, so that it doesn’t appear in the comparative tables of total stations I showed, is only reaches until 10 k series.
Preceding this equipment, it is the 620K that had lowers resolution (26x), less angle precision (6 “) and that the control panel layout was one-sided, now it brings double. It had a 40 ” sensitivity level (level plate), not supported flash memory card or not bringing wireless keyboard option.
While in models of best condition we can see SET320k and 220k that differ from the one I purchased, that has angular precision that reaches 3 “and 2”, further it supports “fine motion screws ” at double speed but don’t ask me what effect causes because I have not tried it yet and it exists the danger to finish writing a wrong thing (*)
Among some interesting features, protection for working in extreme conditions (humidity, dust, snow), and it is assumed that compared with the 10k models, improvements in operability should increase the use up till a 25%. These equipments bring a customizable password protection that can only be deactivated by the Sokkia’s representative (in theory). On Monday I hope to make the first tests, here are the general characteristics:
- Resolution: 30x / 3″
- Minimum focusing distance: 1.0 mts.
- Angular Precision: 5″ / 1.5mgon / 0.025 mil
- Scope 1 prism: until 3,500 mts under optical conditions
- Precision with prism: 2 + 2ppm in fine mode, 5+5 ppm en quick mode
- Memory Storage: 10,000 points, additionally supports flash memory
- Battery Recharge time: 2.5 hours
- Duration in continuous use: 10 hours (1,200 points), 13.5 hours only under angle use
Or at least it is what the brochure says, there I tell you next week, if you can see me, I’m just like when my father took me to the fair and bought me a toy horse with an Indian boring face… but that’s another story that I would like to tell but can not be on this blog.
After some time, I talk about the equipment:
- The manual to use the total station in municipal cadastre
- Comparative table of 60 total stations
- Do we need a robotic total station?
- Municipal cadastre, which method?
- Adjusting data using AutoCAD with a more precise survey
- Download data from the total station
- My first day with the Sokkia 630RK
