For engineering projects, involving housing estates, roads, topography and pipe networks development, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 is still a valuable tool. After the evolution that has been happening to this software, in 2011 version can be seen a much users maturity on getting used to new interface which after mild bumps(*) we see several benefits.
ApliCAD, the company that developed Civil 3D manual which we‘ve talk earlier, is planning a course in intensive timetable from 9 AM to 6:30 PM (9 to 18.30) on 22 and 23 March 2011.
The course will be in Valencia, and there is deadline for registering to March 15. Since quota is limited, we will have to hurry.
Cost: 295 Euros, with an option to be subsidized by the Tripartite Foundation for Training in Employment.
I think it is a valuable opportunity, as we would like many intensive courses like these more frequently and in other cities. It becomes tedious a course which lasts interspersed weekends or several nights in the middle of traffic and exhaustion after work. This is done in 16 hours in two days.
Theme:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D interface.
- Import and management of point’s files
- MDT Generation. Analysis of elevations, slopes and catchment basins.
- Platforms’ Design.
- Profiles: longitudinal and transverse.
- Linear works: alignments, type sections and lace.
- Land movement and volumes calculation.
