Knowing (in Latin America is known as Omen) is a film of Nicolas Cage that I recommend to this blog visitors who are passionate about the lat / long coordinates.
I don’t expect to tell you the story because you lose interest, but basically it is about a fucking sheet with numbers a girl wrote in the sixties and are placed in a time capsule. 50 years after it is opened, and Nicolas, a cartography professor is set to check if they have any logical sense leaning on Internet and online mapping services.
It is interesting that the numbers correspond to a list that includes the latitude, longitude, date and number of deaths from major accidents in the last 50 years, some of which are about to happen … and really happen!
The special effects are great, but the suspense that certainly has a high degree of cosmological sense, for those who understand this dimension is very interesting.
At the end leaves a strong impact, depending upon the religious viewpoint of the viewer. Critics shoot it, but I recommend, instead of going sleeping watching the night of the museum.
