GPS Babel, the best to operate data

Of the best links I’ve received as Gabriel’s feedback from Argentina who told us about it, a couple of days ago. GPS Babel is a free application tool under GPL license, which runs on Windows, Linux and Mac.

Ideal for downloading data from a computer and upload it directly to another. For example, you can be downloading from a Garmin USB and send them to a Magellan by another port. Just in the same way, it lets you do with files like reading from an SD of Magellan and sent directly to kml, csv, OSM, and so on.

Reads and / or writes, about 160 formats’ conditions, of which here I show the 50 most outstanding.

A great solution additionally has different filters like: remove duplicates, reverse the direction of the route, simplify points, reorder lists and even has part of its functionality to run online for viewing on Google Maps or making conversions. I warn you that in gpsvisualizer.com there is much more to see, a great site with practical resources

The best of all, it is free. Here you can download GPS Babel
