Recently it has been made an update in Google Earth high-resolution image, in this case most are cities that had already images but they have been updated with material usually from 2007.
From Europe, this time hasn’t emerged nothing to Spain, although Virtual Earth did it last month; but for other European countries and White House in Morocco. Indeed we see updates in Mexico, Central America and some in the Southern Cone.
I leave here the list of Hispanic countries:
Mexico | Tijuana Juarez Aguascalientes Queretaro Cuernavaca Puebla |
South America | Brazil: Brasilia, Sao Paulo Uruguay: Montevideo French Guyana: Cayenne |
Central America | Guatemala: Guatemala City Honduras: Tegucigalpa |
Caribbean | Cuba: La Habana Haiti: Port au Prince |
United States | Anchorage (AK) Santa Rosa (CA) Thousand Oaks (CA) Newberg (OR) Bee Cave (TX) El Paso (TX) South Dakota Manhattan Long Island |
A novelty is that we are now viewing images based on the base of 2.5 m, at least in India and Australia.
In the LatLong blog is the complete list, but from what I’ve seen in some areas, has been updated in other places not mentioned in the list, others came forward to official post as it is usual for Google, to wake up intrigue of Google Earth.
As this happens, Yahoo! maps also announced that it has integrated information from 45 countries among which are:
Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the United States
