Best of 2008 Technologies

TRANSLATION NOTES: Please read some comments at the end of this post.

Checking PC Magazine, I find an article that lists the best 100 products of 2008. Right now that Pizza Hut in this town has wireless, here I leave the summary.

Now they are sorted by category, although it must be admitted that it is now very difficult to distinguish between what is a PDA and a mobile that brings that and more, and between a monitor and a television, that isn’t for entertainment … what to say about what is software, netware and freeware…

iphone

It is interesting that Apple leads the category with its iPhone mobile, desktop PCs with the iMac, Laptops with the MacBook Pro and the entertainment with iPod. There are undoubtedly better technologies, although slightly more expensive and the popular impression that are for weirs.

When checking if in the year I talked about some of these products, I realized that indeed I did with the GPS Núvi, NVidia card with which Manifold won the GeoTec, the Nokia N96 from our friend, Firefox who stopped giving us money and Chrome which arrives here to stay.

Also, the hype made me buy a Linksys router but not dual, and a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

Dreams for the next year, clear, could an Asus I use, renew my Olympus camera that has failed (*).

(*) pegar la patada: Literally translated as ‘hit the kick’, this jargon is used when you want to say that something has failed.
