Google Maps improves its performance

Google has released a new beta version of its map browser, with quite interesting tools. In this case, to enable it, we must apply click the New! link placed on the right of the symbol of laboratory test, and activate the options.

The warning is clear, what they are doing is only evidence, so that when the final version will leave to public, it might not all be included. Also, if there becomes unstable we must return to:

clip_image003From the most practical, the approach can now be done with a zoom window and any CAD / GIS program. For this it appears a button below the zoom slider.

But these little things do not take away the pleasure, the option to rotate from four angles and the approach gives a good profit. Bears some resemblance with the Virtual Earth’s bird eye, but it isn’t equal, this looks more like an isometric view and that seems with more perspective, and it also looks like more colorful, but not many places even there.

This option to rotate is also on the ground view, being able to rotate in 90 degree angles, keeping the names always horizontal.

They’ve also added functions to the right button’s mouse, with which you can place the lat / long coordinate, or the alternative “what’s here”, which displays business and address in the selected point.

We’ll have to try the other features such as the intelligent zoom, which signals when it is making an enclosure from which there is no content.
